Dina Bierman, MD, FAAD
Dina F. Bierman, M.D. is a board certified dermatologist and fellowship trained Dermatologic Surgeon, specializing in Mohs micrographic skin cancer surgery.
As a native Californian, Dr. Bierman attended UCLA after graduating Valedictorian of Sunny Hills High School. At UCLA, she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and graduated with the highest honors of Summa Cum Laude. Loving her alma mater, Dr. Bierman stayed at UCLA and pursued a dual degree program where she earned her medical doctorate and masters in business administration, making her a triple bruin. She then completed residency in Dermatology at UC Irvine, where she served as Chief Resident, and fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology.
Prior to private practice, Dr. Bierman held a full-time faculty position at UCLA where she enjoyed a mix of patient care, teaching and research, and was awarded the prestigious Faculty of the Year Award. Dr. Bierman has received numerous other accolades for her clinical skills and services, and remains an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American College of Mohs Surgeons. She has published her research in leading medical journal, including the Journal of American Academy of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery.
Despite her busy schedule, Dr. Bierman remains a dedicated educator and activist. She continues to enjoy teaching UCLA residents and medical students at the Venice Family Clinic where she volunteers her time and expertise to provide care to the underserved community.
In her free time, Dr. Bierman loves being a Mom and enjoys spending time with her husband and children. They love to travel the world, but they love weekends filled with tee ball, soccer and ballet even more.
